A professional of the opera world and a violinist, Sonia is responsible for curating opera, ballet and classical music concert series that Rising Alternative distributes worldwide.

From 2008 to 2010 Sonia directed the OperaInCinema programming for Emerging Pictures, a New York based digital cinema exhibition network.

An award winning Mezzo Soprano, Sonia performed a variety of lead roles in several productions in Opera houses throughout France and Germany. Her “home” stage was the Opera du Rhin in Strasbourg.  During her career, she recorded 10 CDs, including one with Bolshoi Percussionists Ensemble, Moscow, Russia. Four of these CDs received national awards. Sonia also served on numerous music jury panels in Paris.
